Looking for friends to follow Jesus with?

I just talked to a long-time friend who has a battle-hardened faith. We were lamenting together that the reason her faith is "battle-hardened" is the hurt she's experienced at multiple churches.

Over and over again, she's joined, volunteered, given generously, and then realized much later that it was a one-way street.

It hurts.

It makes us wonder—is it even worth it?

And finding friends is hard.

One reason is our environments. We live far apart from each other and our schedules are already full. So getting together requires overcoming the friction of scheduling and traffic. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it's the reason we don't initiate getting together. Or if we do, these are often the reason it's hard to keep meeting.

Another major challenge is that there's only so many people who want to be like Jesus. It's a lot easier to find someone to go to the movies or watch Sunday football. It's hard to find someone who wants to be real, to pray, to ask hard questions about the Bible. And who's legitimately safe.

We want to help you get started.
