1. Description of Service

Friends Following Jesus is a free Bible study finder that helps users discover short Bible studies on topics that matter to them and share those studies with friends via text message. We also offer:

• Courses — free Bible study courses.
• The Daily — a free weekday devotional.
• Donations — the ability to make tax-deductible contributions to support our mission.

2. Accounts

• Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or submit personal information through the Service.
• Creation. You may browse and search studies without an account. Creating an account requires a valid email address and is done via magic link authentication (no passwords).
• Accuracy. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• Security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account, which serves as the sole means of accessing your account. Access to your email account grants access to your Friends Following Jesus account.
• One Account. Each person may maintain one account. We reserve the right to merge or remove duplicate accounts.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service, except for standard search engine indexing.
• Submit false, misleading, or spam content through feedback forms or other inputs.
• Abuse the share system to send unsolicited or harassing messages.
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service.

4. Content

• Our Content. All Bible studies, devotionals, course materials, and other content provided through the Service ("Content") is copyright Dr. Carson Weitnauer. Content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
• Limited License. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Sharing. You are encouraged to share studies with friends using our built-in share feature. You may not republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit our Content without written permission.
• Scripture. Scripture quotations are generally from the Christian Standard Bible (CSB). Scripture quotations marked CSB have been taken from the Christian Standard Bible®, Copyright © 2017 by Holman Bible Publishers. Used by permission. Christian Standard Bible® and CSB® are federally registered trademarks of Holman Bible Publishers.

5. Donations

• Tax-Deductible. Uncommon Pursuit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 87-3459028). Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
• Receipts. We will send a receipt to the email address you provide. Please consult a tax professional regarding deductibility.
• Recurring Donations. If you set up a recurring donation, you may cancel at any time through your account or by contacting us.
• Refund Policy. Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 30 days.

6. Feedback

By submitting feedback, suggestions, or ideas through the Service, you grant Uncommon Pursuit a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without obligation or compensation. All feedback is treated as non-confidential.

7. Sharing and Communication

• Share Feature. When you share a study, we generate a personalized short link and prepopulate a message you can send via text. The message includes your name. By using the share feature or creating an account, you consent to the collection of engagement data (such as click-throughs) necessary to provide these notification services.
• Notification Consent. By enabling push notifications or share notifications, you consent to receive messages from us through those channels. You may opt out at any time.
• No Spam. You agree not to use the share feature to send unsolicited, abusive, or harassing messages to others.

8. Intellectual Property

• The Service name, logo, design, and all associated trademarks are the property of Uncommon Pursuit.
• The Service's source code, design, and architecture are proprietary.
• Our server-side analytics system, search algorithms, and content curation methods are proprietary.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• The Content will be accurate, complete, or current.
• Any defects will be corrected.

Spiritual Content Disclaimer. The Content provided through the Service is intended for personal spiritual growth and reflection. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or medical advice. 10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNCOMMON PURSUIT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND VOLUNTEERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE — WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE — SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Uncommon Pursuit and its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice when possible.
• You may stop using the Service at any time.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including Sections 9, 10, and 11).

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Uncommon Pursuit regarding your use of the Service.
