God's salvation meets every need we have—now and for eternity.
God is committed to saving you and me!
Even before Creation, that was his intent. And wherever we look in the Bible, we see that our Triune God is saving his people.
This is why Paul can ask in Romans 8, "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?"
Our First Love wants to save us - not just for an eternity in heaven - but he also saves us from the power of sin.
We know God is our Savior.
But what is the full scope of his saving work?
Ultimately, salvation has or will meet every need that we have.
What do you need God to save you from? What do you feel that God is withholding from you? Throughout the Bible, God has shown you that he is for you!
So bring your questions and struggles to God. He can handle them because he, himself, is the answer to them.
(As an addendum: I am not suggesting that we don't need work to provide an income, doctors to heal us from cancer, therapists to help us recover from trauma, and so on. God employs these ordinary means to show us his love).
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
Considering Romans 8, how does the assurance that 'God is for us' transform your approach to challenges and struggles in your life?
