What are the obstacles you face in your Christian life?
They aren't the Warped Wall, a Rope Climb, or the Cliffhanger from American Ninja Warrior. But we all face real challenges in living out our faith.
One night I saw a competitor on American Ninja Warrior wearing a sweatshirt that said, "Champions Are Made At Practice." Competitors on American Ninja Warrior spend hours in the gym every day to earn a spot in the Finals.
But where do you practice your faith?
Many of us improvise, making it up as we go along, faking it until we make it.
Ephesians 4:15-16 says:
But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into him who is the head—Christ. From him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building itself up in love by the proper working of each individual part.
We have the same goal: to be like Christ. Some are farther along than others. But we're all in it together. We contribute to one another's growth.
This course is designed to help you practice discussing your faith. To ask questions. To work through challenges. To understand what you believe, why you believe it, and how to live as a Christian in your context.
Here's the promise: as you engage with God's Word, reflect on the questions, and share your insights with others, you will grow. Why? Because participation is harder than passivity, but it's how we grow.
